The Field Model™ seeks to understand, diagnose and fix issues. All we need is for you to be ready to delve into your organisation, address the things you have brushed under the carpet and be open for a (sometimes difficult) conversation!
Understand: If we don’t understand the problems how can we solve them? So many conversations about challenges in getting work done or growing a business are hampered by assumptions. These assumptions manifest in different ways for different people so we must explore people, data and leadership as the starting point for understanding the chaos and where it comes from.
Diagnose: Once we understand, we can fully diagnose the issue. Some of this will be about the individual and some will be about teams. It’s easy to jump straight to the diagnosis as it is the bit that starts to bring calm – it’s the information that brings our brains to a place of safety.
Fix: The how. This is often lacking as we explore purpose or strategy but bringing the focus to diagnosis means we can prioritise and talk about the practicalities of calmness.
We work with you to understand what’s made you pick up the phone and we diagnose what’s going on through surveys or interviews – whatever works best – to ensure you get to the bottom of the issues. The Fix is then outlined for you and we can work with you to implement changes or you can take this forward as a team.
